Well, we are back in chilly Iowa. We got up early this morning to get to the airport for our 8:00 flight. Returning the rental car was a heck of a lot easier than renting it! We got through check in and security relatively easy! Our bag broke and Mom bought us some zip ties to help secure the bag for the trip home. Unfortunately, somewhere between the elevator of rental car to the check in gate we lost the zip ties so we had to tie it with a luggage tag and pray for the best. When we got to our gate someone said “Clarke Osceola in Iowa?” (They recognized the maroon on Thom’s sweatshirt and his Osceola hat. Turns out it was two of my Clarke students and their family. They were headed back on the same flight as us!  The flight was a little rough. Between being tired and Rocky constantly wanting to move it was a struggle. Teddy did great on the flight.  We got our baggage with ease then waited for the hotel shuttle to pick us up. We were on the same shuttle to the same hotel with the oth

What a magical day! We began our morning early by getting up and going to Magic Kingdom. We knew we wanted to get there early and left the condo at 7:00 to head to the parking lot. With Magic Kingdom you need to be transported to the park. We opted for the ferryboat ride from the transportation hub to Magic Kingdom.  We counted that as our first ride of the day! We arrived and entered with ease! They had many characters standing greeting people as they entered from up above on the train station. Rocky got so excited when he saw them!  We knew we wanted to take a different approach to today so instead of heading for the ride we thought would have the longest wait later (Seven Dwarf Mine Train) we decided to go to some less popular rides in hopes of getting on quite a few before the lines got long.  We were able to get on the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad with ease. The line picked up then because Splash Mountain was closed. Thom rode BTMR wit

Pool day!! We slept in a bit this morning after our long day yesterday! Once I got up and moving Mom and I took the boys to the playground. The slides were still a little wet, but the boys didn't care! They played in the volleyball sand and went down the slide a few times before we decided to head to the activities center. Mom brought a couple dollars so she got 3 tokens.  Teddy played a race car game, a motorcycle game and the last coin was to try and get a ball with the claw. I am proud to say I got it on the first try! We then ran around the mini golf course before heading back to the room to get our swimming suits on. We played on the splash pad and went in the pool. For lunch I brought down some leftover UNOs pizza and it was quickly devoured. Rocky found new independence with jumping in the pool and Teddy let him borrow his life jacket.   Once nap time rolled around Dad went back and took a nap too while the boys napped so Thom, Mom and I took advantage of the absolute beauti

What an amazing day!! Epcot opened at 11:00 so we planned to be there at 10:00.  I got to sleep in a bit while the boys played with Thom, Grandma and Papa.  We had to drive separately due to the vehicles we rented and car seats but we got great parking spots close to the park.  We headed in and went right to Test Track. The line was already long, but it was moving quickly. We decided to hop in line. We signed up for rider swap so I left with Rocky. I completely forgot that I had asked Thom to hold my phone so when we walked away I was phoneless! We walked around for awhile and by the time I realized it and got back to ask a cast member if I could use their phone I saw Thom looking for me! It could not have been more perfect! Mom and I switched and she took Rocky while we waited in line for Test Track. Unfortunately, a power outage happened which shut down half the park. We weren't sure if we should leave our spots or wait it out. We waited. They switched the ride since we rode las
